It's not entirely impossible that he's playing a traditional game of political hardball, where he takes a hard line to secure the best deal he can, then turns around and tries to sell it to his coalition. I can't see that working, though. What core is left to him is small enough, and hate-filled enough, that no deal is likely to satisfy. Their words have made that quite plain.

Do they not see it? Do they not recount their own recent horrors and see what they are doing today?
I'm honestly beyond understanding how human brains work.. The fact they don't see what they're doing is almost getting to the level of what happened to them 80 years ago (except far the camps) is incredible! And I'm am disgusted/embarrassed/shamed that our government is fully backing what they're doing too..
