Is the Israeli foreign minister advocating the artificial island plan aware of how long it took to build the airport in Hong Kong? Said artificial island would be nothing but a mass grave.

Does the Israeli foreign minister somehow think Israeli passport holders would be safe anywhere in the world other than Israel, if that happens? Does he think they would be safe  in Israel?

It’s the disrespect it shows to allies and neighbours who are trying to deal with this problem seriously that’s the worst. Fair enough if Katz had turned up saying they had to do the invasion, the people demand it etc etc but coming out with that crap is basically saying f you to the Europeans, and anyone (like the Saudis, Jordan, Egypt) who were there as well.

In fact, if one wanted to be of a conspiratorial mind one might look at the deliberate nature of stuff like this, look at the effect it’s obviously going to have with regards to the US/EU and US/Middle East relations, and then remember how close Netanyahu and Putin were (and how similar their politics are to this day).

I don't think political leaders in nuclear weapons states are all that concerned about getting shipped off to the Hague. That's a problem for the leaders of penny-ante countries.

At a minimum, one would think that this idiocy should mean the India - Middle East - Europe Corridor (IMEC) in its agreed form (which terminated in Israel) is dead now. Moves should really be made to bring in the Turkish - Iraqi proposal to replace it, with the line branching off to go down to Aqaba and on to Jeddah, instead.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. There's a reason they're destroying the hospitals. They're where we keep score. No hospitals, no death toll. Simple.

TBF I don’t think it’s a genuine idea so much as it is the sort of thing to remind compromised people that they’ve got to keep following or they’ll be exposed and loose all the time and effort they’ve invested so far.

It is an old trick of scam artists; Trump does it all the time. The only answer to it that does anything positive is to walk away and accept looking like a fool for a bit.
