The populace maybe but the ones in the power positions couldn’t give a flying one for the Palestinians. MBS and his Royal Saudi family see the conflict in Gaza as simply bad for business. If you look back prior to Oct 7th and examine the possible reasons for Hamas launching their attack on Israel then you will find one standout reason.
The normalisation of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel. Given the historical inhumane approach of Israel towards the Palestinians why would SA even consider talking to Israel let-alone cozying up and talking about mutual business opportunities?
Jordan has air-dropped token aid shipments to Gaza and discontinued diplomatic relations with Israel - but that’s it. They then asked the US to help defend them against possible Iranian militia attacks.
UAE - A few shouts of anger directed against Israel then nothing.
Soz…in retrospect I don’t think it’s a religious thing. There is a level of animosity but I think it’s based on heritage and bloodlines and also economics (see my post above)
