Cos for some reason you have chosen to ignore 70 years of terrorist attacks by Israel on Palestinians and only focus on the 7th october hamas attacks. I mean it totally invalidates anything you say. You just come across as either stupid or lacking humanity

As for the "if they were white" line - I genuinely believe it for you and almost all apologists.

The Balfour declaration was in 1917, long before WW2. Palestine was under Ottoman control before the Arabs rose up with the British took control.

The Palestinian Arabs fought with British soldiers to take back their land and Britain took a mandate from the league of nations to administer the area.

Waves of Jewish immigration occurred before and during the war and they later rebelled and rose up against the British forces while WW2 was still happening.

In an effort to end the violence, the UN proposed this map of two states in 1947.

It wasn't just created to give Jewish people a state to live in, it was created to try to end the paramilitary violence of Zionist forces who were attacking Arabs and British forces.

Don't want people younger than you to talk to you about history but clearly despite having lived some of it you don't know it either.

We have all seen that map many times, and I grew up being fully aware of the terrorist attacks that had taken place against the British. But as I have mentioned before various wars against the Israeli Jewish population resulted in the changing of the map. The six day war epitomises this when Israel in 1967 defeated Egypt, Jordan and Syria and Israel took control of the Gaza Strip, Sinai Peninsula, the West Bank, and Golan Heights. Maps have always changed after a war.

Anyway, with a bit of luck there may be a pause, in order to get the hostages out but we all know that Hamas will just string it out and continue to hide amongst the poor Gazan people……..

They are attacking an enemy hiding among the populace. The people have been told to move south, Hamas have told them to stay put knowing full well that Israel intends to wipe Hamas out. Hamas took hostages for a similar purpose. Israel is behaving as badly as Hamas in many respects and while neither you nor I would have attacked Israel nor bombed Gaza, I can understand the Israeli anger against Hamas…..

It gives most of the best fertile land to the Jews (although they get the Negev Desert, too) and most of the holiest sites outside of Jerusalem to the Arabs. Jews were by a long way the smaller population at the time, too.

It's no wonder the Jews bit their hand off to accept it and the Arabs rejected it, really.

There was another mention of what may have happened there in this obituary-style report from the Guardian:

“I arrived in Be’eri to see Brig Gen Barak Hiram and the first thing he asks me is to fire a shell into a house [where Hamas were sheltering],” he said.

“The first question that comes to your mind is – are there hostages there? We did all the preliminary checks before we decided to fire a shell into a house. And then we went from house to house to free the hostages. And that’s how the fighting was until the evening. In the kibbutz and in the streets.

“I realised that as soon as people heard the rumbling of the tanks, they suddenly had a moment of security.
