….military commander talking on Sky says the last thing Israel will accept is a ceasefire whereas Hamas will be delighted. A ceasefire will allow Hamas to regroup and replenish, there’s little chance of it happening. Managing the toll on civilians in Gaza is the only influence foreign leaders can diplomatically try and impact.

It seems like a tactic of they will admit this awful one, and then do a few more less/equal awful ones and put the blame elsewhere with the whole 'well we admitted the camp one, so why wouldn't we here' shtick
Yep.

Typical of the rancid nazis that will be.

...and THAT was EXACTLY Keir Stamer's speech today.

The utter shame of the 'Labour' Party and all who intend to vote for their cheerleading war crimes.

I had no intention of voting labour again, I would now campaign for the end of the labour party as an organisation that actively promotes this level of spite and bitter hatred towards human beings.
Sickening today from that repulsive ghoul.

Interesting way to think about it. Unlike PhilM and Mutzo Nutso, I have a tendency to think about this stuff at the political level first and foremost due to training. I shift to military thinking once I know there's nothing to be had on the political side.

The Israelis do have an institutionalized bias towards military thinking, for a whole host of reasons. I probably should have grasped that one sooner, and it explains a few things. Thanks for pointing this one out.

A plague on him, a plague on Sunak, a plague on all politicians who bow to lobbying and fascists' slander and don't do the right thing.
What is it these people have on politicians and governments.
Why are they so frightened to speak out against them.
If it's only the fear of losing votes in an election then it shows that they are only interested in their own advancement.
But that's modern day politicians for you.
