2: Gazans are trapped by Hamas
3: Hamas attacked Israel
4: Israel have taken one option to destroy Hamas

What is your solution instead of that?

I said exactly this to some friends last week. We meet to study Scripture every week. I said that extremists could take passages from Scripture that is 2500 to 3000 years old and use them to justify slaughter of innocents who happen to be living in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Netanyahu has always been seriously extreme in his views on Palestinians. This seems yo confirm his use of isolated Scripture to justify genocide.

I think it'll do the exact opposite. Even if Hamas have their military capability reduced or removed, Iran and others will ensure Israel face retribution.

They've already pretty much said so, and that's before considering how Hamas, Palestinians et al. respond themselves.
