Yes, the two peoples are genetically related. Most Palestinians probably have more semitic blood than the Ashkenazi Jews moving to Israel from Brooklyn and the like.
However, claiming that if the Arabs had just remained where they were they and their descendants would be Israeli Arabs now is bollocks. It was David Ben-Gurion's stated aim that there needed to be as few Palestinians as possible within the Israeli state for it to remain Jewish, because of future demographics. Yep, the leaders of other Arab countries told the Palestinians to leave while they failed in destroying Israel. They were also driven off the land, and in some cases, massacred, by the Irgun, Palmach and the rest of the Jewish terrorist groups.
The situation in the West Bank very much resembles apartheid. The Palestinians basically live in 4 bantustans, with their entry and exit controlled by the IDF. Several of my family members have been there multiple times.
Within Israel "proper" it's less arguable, but there's plenty of evidence that a two-tier legal system exists, certainly when it comes to civil matters like planning, marriage etc. even if its not enshrined in law.
You seem to have an entirely one-eyed view of the history and conflict, believe every popular Israeli myth, and that they're entirely innocent of any wrongdoing. You also seem to view Palestinians as less than people, and hold them entirely to blame for their own suffering. Yet you tell others to have balance. It's bizarre.
