What’s the conventional wisdom my Jew / Israel hating lefty socialist friends?

Was the hospital?:

a) bombed by Israel
b) accidentally bombed by Hamas
c) other, e. g. bombed on purpose by Hamas


There seems to be conflicting reports. I wonder which one you “regressives” believe and why?

The hospital administrator had his house bombed by Israel a few days before this attack, the Israelis bombed the same hospital a few days before this latest bombing, and they gave at least two warnings for it to be evacuated.

The phone call the Israelis claimed to have evesdropped makes no sense (talking in clear, easy possibility for it to be triangulated) and at least one mainstream U.K. media outlet had two experts who said it was fake for a number of linguistic reasons. The media are also mostly pushing a narrative that is demonstrably false too, that the bombs the Israelis use would not cause this type of damage - they would, with a proximity fuse.

Of all the video evidence that’s been put out, none of it actually shows a rocket malfunctioning- the one most often cited probably shows an interception but there’s nothing other than timing to say the debris caused the explosion at the hospital, and that video disproves one of the Israeli claims anyway (that it was launched from next to the hospital).

So me personally I am in the Israel bombed it deliberately camp.

Difficult to say with certainty with regard to the hospital. Bombing of civilians isn’t always a war crime, but yeah sure Israel would have bombed civilians whilst after military targets.

It seems relevant to note here though, that walking into a concert and shooting is a terrorist attack. There’s no doubt about that. I wonder why the terrorist label isn’t used in MSM like the BBC for Hamas?

The Hamas claim is 500 dead not long after the bomb, that landed in a car park? Seems like a fishy claim no? also would Israel miss like that?

There is video evidence knocking round supposedly showing a rocket failing. Trying to get the truth of anything these days is not easy.

I guess people have finally accepted Hamas was beheading babies / children? I know a lot of people outright rejected that, when there is now evidence.

I assume there is a high correlation with people denying the beheadings of babies / children and raping of woman, with those who instantly blamed Israel for the hospital bombing.

Well yeah, it could have been an accident by any side, it could have been on purpose too. Realistically less than 5 people in the world probably know and it might not come out to the public for a long long time

This was a 'perfect' time to push for a ceasefire, or something 'positive" and instead two of the most influential countries cosied up to Israel (who may well have done this) and offered very little aid to the other side

And since then, there appears to be most bombs in Gaza which have been in questionable targets

I'm pretty sure BBC have called Hammas terrorists, but maybe they haven't. But even knows that their act last week was an act of terror anyway

I remember something from probably about 18 or 19 years ago, when I was far younger and had no idea about happenings further out from typical young people things. It was a news story that said Israel were literally marching into Palestine and building a wall and claiming the land that way. I never knew what came from that but it always stuck with me how ridiculous it was to hear it was happening and they were getting away with it
