So traps and attacking mechanisms will have been put in place to kill the IDF. The IDF will then respond and no one will be safe as they will have little restraint. Disgusting if this is proven. The HRW are saying they have verified the claims. Any support Israel have will slowly dissipate if they carry on like this.

I seem to recall Hamas brutally executing suspected informants the last time the two sides got into it a decade ago. As it was with the Soviets, putting agents in place in Gaza probably is not the easiest task in the world. They had much greater success penetrating us (up to and including the architect of Bretton Woods, most likely) than we had with them.

yeah, theres a very sad air of inevitability about all this. I haven't really watched/read much about it since last Saturday.
