He didn’t at any stage say “I think cutting off water supplies is justified”.

He says Israel has a right to defend itself, and that any actions must be in compliance with International law.

Clearly, he is doing his best not to condemn Israel directly given the anti-Semitic accusations which have swirled around the party for years.

Starmer replied, 'Israel does have that right, it's an ongoing situation.....' and then went on to say other things.

When asked that question, surely a human rights lawyer would have said, 'war crime'. But it appears no broadcaster, reporter in the TV media, in particular, can't bring themselves to say 'Israel are committing war crimes'. I may be wrong but I've not heard one.

He didn’t say that for a reason though.

It’s obvious we are willing to let Israel do what we they want without consequence.

It’s a complicated subject though. It’s hard to find the right words at times that won’t outrage a lot of people.

Mate you need to take a beat. Its an emotive subject and we all have different views. Some people I completely disagree with on most things political, but I doubt anybody on here wishes for or delights in the killing of any kids, regardless or which side they appear to be leaning towards.
