Looking at the horrific scenes from the weekend was heartbreaking but seeing Gaza getting flattened and knowing that there are women and a million children in there isn't making anything better. So called world leaders, we are a disgraceful animal.

Speaking of books, I don’t know if anyone here is Catholic but the first reading at last Sunday’s mass (the day after the attack) was from the Book of Isaiah 5:1 to 7.

When did that ever stopped the war? I mean same is (and much closer) between Russians and Ukrainians, Croats and Serbs, various civil wars, many similar examples through history.

Never believe an intelligence official briefing or leaking to the media; doubly never believe them during a time of war. This goes for all sides and all wars. I'm still waiting on news of Hamas/IDF overturning incubators with babies in them.

I have always held him partly responsible for Yitzhak Rabin's murder. Obviously Yigal Amir pulled the trigger, but Netnayahu's language preceeding the murder was horribly inflammatory and tacitly encouraged it..

He is a cancer on that country. A corrupt turd who thinks he's the king of Israel. I hope he dies soon. He has done more to wreck any peace process than anyone, and the thing is, he'd be proud of that record.

Might be a bit off-topic, but one of the most vivid memories I have from high school years is that of my history teacher in tears the day after Rabin was assassinated. He was barely able to speak. I didn’t completely understand the importance of what had happened at the time, but Mr. Romero a great teacher and a great man certainly did!
