Current Affairs Israel is an apartheid state

Who ok'd a rave party right in front of the Gazan's noses, that's what I have to ask.
From what I’ve heard, IDF resources may have been re-appropriated to the West Bank where their ultra right wing settlers “need more protection” as they’d been brutalising the Palestinians there too much.

If that’s true, then there are chances it’ll properly kick off internally in Israel, especially given this bombing campaign doesn’t seem to care about accidentally killing their hostages.

Sounds like Israel have gotten very sloppy of late.

🤷‍♂️

Just asking about the idea for the raves. I mean why would you even go that near to Gaza to have that...
When you have a people so under your boot that you control their water supply (and ensure it’s mostly toxic), their electricity supply, and their food supply, and effectively have them in a open air prison, then it’s not a shock you’d get overconfident.

For what it’s worth I’m completely against what they did in this attack to civilians, but it is something that was always going to happen eventually as a result of their atrocious acts which have been going on for over 50 years against the Palestinians.

The additional issue is that most of the western media have conveniently forgotten Israel deliberately targeting Red Cross facilities, sniping children, murdering press officials, firing live rounds into crowds of peaceful protesters and bombing hospitals.

It is a valid question to ask - the event was (according to this report) never meant to be held there originally and was moved at very short notice (two days before it was due to start, so three days before the attack) from elsewhere in southern Israel.

Why would any security agency say it was a good idea to hold a multi-day festival there?
I was under the impression that this incident is a bit unprecedented.

I could be wrong.

But is it not similar to ask why the AUF decided to hold a Summer Camp in 2011?
