When you look at Gough’s full career, he was a Champions League level defender. And Weir was a key Everton player for years.

But Gough was 82 by the time he got to us. But I may have interpreted wron, that you meant they were outstanding for us?

If that is what he meant then I misunderstood him. I definitely stand by Weir though - a rock solid defender is just what we need at the moment.

Not sure about that, those 4 have no value, but he might, but putting him in the loser section devalues him, we might be able to get a fee on him unlike the other 4, if not we can always use him next season

Good point, but I would still like to see him gone based on his cba attitude and the training ground thing with Mirallas. He is the last bad egg.

I'm quite happy with our moves so far ( worried about the pace with the window closing quickly but we are thinning the herd and have brought in a couple of quality players ) BUT I am worried that Silva sees Schniderlien as a name in out first XI ....and that would be a serious mis-step by the manager IMO

Fatty Koeman and Gormless Walsh really did a job on Everton, didn't they?
But right now, the most telling indicator/litmus test for me, as regards the new manager, is Jagielka's position. If the armband isn't taken from him, Silva is not up to much.

No doubt if players are either surplus to requirements or don't involve themselves in training enough to make it worth persevering with them making them train separately is reasonable.
Making it public so that they are less appealing to other clubs,is to say the least odd.

Hardly makes them less appealing.. if anything makes it more obvious that they are available!
