Sorry lads lashing six or seven untried youngster into the first team is the answer to our current situation is pure armeghedon. What are they there for, they have showen potential that the club hopes with nurturing, coaching, development will save them millions. Of the group you mentioned we would be lucky if two or three ever make first team regulars - to say they should be used over players who have proabably clocked over thousands of games in Europe, Internationals and PL well frankly is a bit reactionary - sometimes solutions just arent that easy. Change can often be far more disruptive then working with what you have.

Pure madness to think putting players with no expierence into a winter PL programme will be the solution to our problems.

Just face it lads its the injuries - simples!

If the so called 'experienced' players actually played well, you'd have a point, but they're what MG would call 'gash'.

We let 3 in today.
We might have only let 2 in if we had played Duffy in central defense for example.
We might have scored 3 had Aggard played with Saha.

What do we have to lose at the moment?

Timmy should be put in the reserves for saying he can only play with Mikel, but what happens? He is made captain.

That's how tollerant Moyes is of poor performance. Play bad, get the armband. Osman was the same. Yes, we can say he tried to lift the players, but it hasn't worked for either player.

Give Distin the armband and tell him to knock the living daylights out of anyone who underperforms. :)

Who specificaly is gash mate and what youngsters would you replace who with?

After seeing the likes all the young lads you mention though some have decent talent im stumped in terms of who we could bring in to improve results at the mo - where and what players do you want to bring in and who will they replace what do you think that or those player/s will bring that will make them better options to the team at present? If they improved the team i wouldnt have a problem, im just certain they wont based on what i have seen of their potential up till this point.

I'm with Ghost on this. The players put out there are earning a hell of a lot of money or at least they should start earning it by not ******* up. They are supposed to be more than competent PL players that is why they are there so they should show it.

If Fellaini can't defend what use is he, 15 mill down the drain then and also why play the buggar.

Moyes should start giving the young players a chance, not all at once but damn well start instead of putting players in out of position. A PL team is the last place one should be trying horses for cuases.

I would drop Cahill, Yakubu, and Jo without hesitation.
If we had another keeper, I would also drop Howard.

I would then play Saha upfront on his own, or pair him with Aggard to give us pace and aggression up front combined with quality.
At the back, I would add either Duffy, or Coleman, but not both.
Adding Duffy allows Hibbert to stay in position.
Adding Coleman ( at right back ) allows us to fill the middle with experience.
I would put Distin at left back.

Hibbert..Duffy..Heitinga..Distin
or
Hibbert..Neil..Duffy..Distin

Then I would consider playing this:

Coleman..Hibbert..Neil/Heitinga..Distin
Heitinga/Neil..Fellaini..Rodwell..Billy
.........Aggard..Saha

Hibbert..Duffy..Heitinga/Neil..Distin
Neil/Heitinga..Fellaini..Rodwell..Billy
........Aggard..Saha

Can't be any worse than what we have. :)

At a further risk, you could add Peterlin in the midfield, and drop one striker.

That is exactly what Moyes should be doing, considering other opportunities and giving players a chance, but we all know Moyes hardly likes giving young players a chance unless he is forced to.

If the kids don't get opportunities when there actually 'are' opportunities, then they will become disillusioned with Everton.
Doing the same thing brings the same result, and we've been getting the same results because of the circumstances.

I'd rather write this season off, and develop the kids, than plod along in mediocrity.

Moyes will never have a better chance to gain valuable experience as he has now.

Very few managers get this opportunity to challenge against the odds with most of the squad injured.

We'll end up with a better manager, and better youngsters in the process. Next season, we will win the league.:)

Bollocks. Fellaini is hardly a kid, cost 15 mill. Rodwell and Gosling came throuigh last season and Coleman was flung in against Benfica.

What of the other young players? Where are they, When will they get a try?

Hes playing the kids, turn down your whine a little, Jack Rodwell 18, Dan Gosling 19, Seamus Coleman 21, Marouane Fellaini 21, João Alves de Assis Silva 22.

I think you will find these players played today.
