Its ridiculous really.

I mean i'm all for aiming criticism at Moyes when his shoite tactics cost us points but right now there's not really a lot he can do.

And thats the manager who rescued us from relagation, got us 5th 2 years in a row and got voted some manager of the year award 3 years in a row.

So if he can't seem to do anything about crappy results at the moment than why is that?

Its because having a defence made up of young inexperienced players and players playing out of position means we are going to struggle keeping the ball out.

Its chop and change, their is no balance to our side defensively. You can cope with maybe 1 youngster in there, or 1 player out of position. But not when its the majority of your defence.

It wasn't so long ago we scored 11 goals in 3 matches. Now we've conceded 9 in 3 matches.

So with a solid constant defence behind us it allows the players in the rest of the pitch to perform better.

Problem then is that our best most creative players are also missing. And when they play it allows other players like Fellaini, Jo and Cahill to play better.

Those players have strengths, but none of them are able to control a game and make things happen by themselves.

Remember its a team game out there not 11 players.

As someone said on the match thread, 8 of the injured players would be good shouts for first team players. The sheer volume of injuries is bound to affect any club. Another factor is the fact that we seem to be getting injuries every fcuking game recently so we can't even pick a settled side from reserve players coz we have to chop and change evey game

What happens if anymore of our players get injured and we can't field a team???

We'll be the laughing stock of the premier league...!!!:@

Moyes is on £3m a year mate, dont short change him FFS.

If you think a team missing Arteta, Jagielka, Baines, Yakubu, Pienaar, Billy and Neville to name but a few, isnt going to struggle, you have issues.

Mate. we have lost games with them players. They are no silver bullet.

We have beaten teams who have spent 50m on players, it's about getting the best out of what you have got, and doing it on the training ground and preparing.

How long have we had a strange defence? What are they doing during training?

Hi Tony, this is Sylvain, Sylvain this is Dan and Dan this is Lucas, oh and the loud yank over there is Tim.

I will not accept it as an excuse.

As far as I could tell we only had one player out of position today.

The team cant keep papering over the cracks, we have been struggling since Arteta, theres only so many setbacks they can come back from, the list gets bigger, the changes happen, the team isnt settled, they are only human.

When we havent got AT least 6 first team players missing, I will join your train of doom.

Laughing Stocks??

With our history, I think not.

So you are telling me that people won't think its funny if Sky Sports reports that Everton don't have enough players to ******* play Tottenham.

History has nothing to do with having no players fit.

The last team in this situation was Middlesbrough who didn't turn up to a match coz they had 'no players' They got docked 3 points which ultimately led to their relegation in the same year they got to the cup final.

That is what I am worried about. That cannot happen. We are supposed to be past them days of relying on Barry Horne or Gareth ******* Farelly.

Thing is we are not getting out played, that is my point, we are creating chances to score goals. We are just not taking them. We are giving the ball away cheaply in bad areas and being punished.

But we are not getting battered, even against Benfica I felt we were still in with a chance of getting something out of it, until the 2nd half.

Players who have cost us money or are normally very reliable are making silly mistakes. But these mistakes seem to be being overlooked, you can't blame an injury of another player for a mistake by a completely different player.

These players making mistakes some of them are new players, nervous players, it makes a difference when you have 2-3 of them on the pitch, its ok if you have 1 here and there, but to have a team made up of players trying to find their way it leads to silly mistakes.

By Fellaini?
By Rodwell?
By Jo?
By Cahill?
even Distin?

So you won't accept a team being disrupted by injuries as an excuse for normally reliable players making mistakes.

So what "excuse" will you accept. Because there has to be some reason for it, so what is it?

Didnt see any of those players make mistakes.

Not just talking about today, and by the looks of the streams you never saw enough to make any judgement about mistakes today.

Cahill actually was beaten far too easily for the 2nd goal, as was Distin.

Never saw the 1st, but the third was a poor clearance by Neill which bounced through to their player.

But against Benfica, Fellaini was at fault for the key goals in the second half.
