Is now the opportunity? Should Everton go for Iraola?

….no way, he’s huge risk & his managerial record is quite poor.

Seems a nice bloke, be interesting what he does with an ordinary recruiting team behind him. His next job will tell us more but he’s certainly not for us at this point in time.
His record does look a bit poor at first glance but if you look deeper his out performed expectations and resources at each club he's been at. He improves players and his 'system' seems to work. While I'm not 100% convinced there is something intriguing about him. His style of football is what I remember from the 80's with Kendall aggressive, combative, fast counter attacking. All stuff that will get the fans off their feet. I'd have liked to have seen him do it at another slightly bigger club than Bornmouth but maybe that's where we are as a club at the moment we need to be that club. If they stayed with Moyes I wouldn't mind at all. If they rolled the dice with Iraola I'd be happy too. I'd like Carsley as well, not sure if that's a bit of sentiment though.

As an American with 35+ years of supporting EFC and having read no shortage of viewpoints during times that were and weren't truly bad, I have to disagree. Soz about me.
Ah, you read about it. I've been going to the ground for nearly 40 years and, whilst there are a lot of boos, we are pussycats compared with Turkish, Eastern European and Southern European ultras. I've never been to a match in South America but I understand it's a bit fruity there too. No manager is going to be crushed under the yoke of our fans, despite what the weirdos on here say.

Is his managerial record poor? And I'm not talking about your fabled win percentage. How has he done compared with the other recent managers at the clubs he's coached? Has he, for example, gone into England's biggest club who've just won the league and made them considerably worse so they didn't even qualify for the Champions League? Because surely you wouldn't want somebody like that managing your club?

I don't have any hyperbolic statements to make, just that he gave me one of the less than a handful of moments of the last 30 years where I genuinely laughed, from the shock of what I was watching; that being this moment:
