We've invested in some quality youth it seems. The future looks bright in that regard. It's hard to put a valuation on players these days, it's even harder to determine what's a lot of money and what isn't. Teenagers bought for millions, loaned out and put in the u23 squad. We've certainly invested there, but through prize money, player sales.

They'll be sold for profit in a few years and the Everton FC conveyor belt will keep turning. Rinse and repeat.

It's also a fact that within 18 months of him walking in the door, Everton have lost their 2 best assets in Lukaku and Barkley. When the jarg blue starts using his own notes on the team, he'll be classed as truly ' investing '.

The increase in our wage bill says all we need to know about this one and the net spend some people are obsessed about will show it too once the window closes. FFS we are spending more on kids for Unsworths team than we used to give Moyes in a full window so that should answer the question.

Is that money coming out of Farhads back pocket for those players?

Moshiri is a businessman looking to make a profit, he cares sod-all about the team
Whatever investment he brings to the team is an investment in himself - not that it's condemnable in any way, I just hope he is willing to invest as much as possible.

But we should dismiss the possibility of Mosh giving a toss about the state of the team as long as it is not mutually beneficial.

His strategy is the regeneration of the City of Liverpool. Everton helps is this. He is investing more broadly than in a football club.

Na, he's Jedi mind-tricking everyone that he's actually, you know, paying money for the players that we're signing....
