Is it time to panic?

Ask yourself just 1 question.

Does this man strike you as somebody who even bothered to translate the word panic from Dutch to English?

No, he doesn't know the word.

He is a real life Liam Neesom, he will find his man and ki...sign them.

No bedwetting on my behalf with this guy. He's already proved his worth last summer.

He'll do it again. He's already shown enough nouns with the players he (and Silva) have brought in.

3 weeks to go... against last years starting 11 we have lost Zouma .. maybe gained a starter in Delph but not sure where.

Gueye 80% gone.

With all the links being rubbished I’m beginning to get nervous. Silva saying he would replace Gana has me even more nervous that we won’t use the money for a better striker ...

I’ve fumed once and a half because of the window, both because of panic buys making us look amateur with the failed purchase of that Newcastle bloke tipping me over the edge.

Failing to get a striker will be as close to a dereliction of duty as I’ve seen... fume levels will peak at 7 on the fume scale (it’s out of 7 on my scale)

Another week gone and under two to go... literally only movement the whole week is Lookman going.

Gueye still on his way out but even that hasn’t closed.

Only Kean and Zaha left as attacking links with Zaha more than anyone (even his fans) would consider value.. it’s a serious premium and definitely needs players to move out to make viable. I would argue one is not enough... we need both. Good thing we have saved their wages by not getting them in early!

We might not be panicking but paying £80m for Zaha does smack of a certain amount of it...watch this space.

I am working up to losing my natural optimistic outlook, in other words I am becoming vulnerable to early signs of doubt, although panic is a bit too strong as yet.
