Ligue 1 - dominated by 1-2 teams every year, same as Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga and Primera Liga

Ukraine Premier League - don’t know a whole lot about because it doesn’t get screened over here but I know the big teams and who their best players are when they’ve played in Europe

I'm agreeing with you!

I was informed yesterday that one certain player must be better than another player on the basis that they had played in the Champions League and Internationally. I stated that was a flawed argument. Good to see you agree.

So why do we have people in here melting down because Newcastle have signed a player that’s played in the Champions League group stages? And suggesting a bum like Kramaric would walk in our team because he’s played a few games in it, like we don’t have anyone that’s reached those heights?

I think it's more that Newcastle have spent £40m on 'anyone'. It's not necessarily important who it is in the context of the fume.

That said, I think Kramaric is a much better player than what we have here. He's certainly not a bum. The opinion he would fit in here isn't based on the few games he played in the Champions League, although he did have 5 goals in 6 Champions League games last year, which is no bad record.

50 goals and 24 assists in 113 appearances in the Bundesliga is bloody good form for anyone in a major European league. (G/A every 111 minutes).

Harsh to judge him based on the handful of primarily sub appearances he made for Leicester 4 years ago.

The Bundesliga is about a level above the SPL in terms of quality and on a par with the Dutch league, those numbers you’ve posted don’t look impressive to anyone who’s done their research into the league.

Surely we must see some activity soon on the new centre back, as Zouma seems a no go.
In midfield it is obviously a wait till Gana goes.
As for the forward line, hmmm will there ever be an end to the Kean / Leao / Malcom rumours.......
