Is anyone else worried

Worried about dismantling any of the top 6 because on the evidence so far we are way off those teams, but not too concerned about the rest of the league. Although we have lost a top player in Lukaku, the rest of our squad is superior to the sides below us and Koeman will inevitably have to change things soon as what he is trying at the moment just isn't working.

Obviously, like everyone else, I was hoping we'd be in a position to push on and challenge for 5th or 6th this season, but that's quite clearly going to be out of our grasp the way it looks at the moment. Can't be arsed getting too bothered by it though, nothing we can do and it's up to Koeman and the players to sort their performances out.

Some overreactions on the forum though, claims of 12th etc and how we're in a worse position than Martinez. Some said the same last season and were proved wrong.

January arrives and the window opens.
Putting aside that any signing we do make will be right on the deadline, which proven goalscorer would a) first of all be available, and b) want to go to a club that on current form will be languishing in the bottom half of the table.
So its a yes from me, I am worried.

And that's the thing, some seem to think we can just go out in January and magic up a striker to change things. Clubs fighting relegation won't sell their strikers, teams in Europe won't want to sell either, the only way we get a quality striker is if we go out and break the bank to bring one in, or we just loan a yard dog who's not even making his teams bench.

After Koeman spending around £140m mate you would hope so.

The jury is still out (just) for me. There are a lot of new faces which will take time to gel. But Koeman does seem to have overloaded us with centre midfielders while not addressing the elephant in the room (or rom) of who is going to play centre forward and bang in even 15 goals for us this season.

I am also concerned at the continual chopping and changing of starting formations and personnel. In a top club with establushed players used to the different systems you can bring in one or two new players and continue seamlessly. But we have bbougjt almost an entire new team who are being denied the opportunity to gel as Koeman is changing formations and personnel each and every game. Good results are built on strong foundations and I think we need to go back to basics and try and start the same 11 in the same formation for a few matches.

Koeman hasn't got a clue what his best eleven or formation is. Yesterday we had a half-dodgy back four with six players meandering around in front them, no striker and no creativity.
He needs to correct this soon, otherwise we might be happy with 12th by the end of the season.

My concern is that we have just spent the most we have ever spent in one window, didn't sign a proven goal scorer, have a flooded No10 position, have great prospects on loan, have England U21's available on the bench, yet we play players out of position, start at home with 2 defensive midfielders, play with no width when our game screams for it, have a manager who is willing to make changes at half time which makes it obvious that his starting selections were wrong and that his game plan has failed.

I could live with poor results if performances gave a glimmer of hope or that youngsters have been too exposed, but this just isn't the case.
Two key players are due back from injury soon so that may offer some hope, but RK must either play DCL or come up with an alternative system of play until the January window and spunk more money on a striker - but what quality is available in January?

The Board failed in recruiting a striker, but RK is failing in making best use of his squad. His tactics and team selections have been poor at very best and he is not doing the new players any favours by exposing them to the Premier league if they are not up to speed yet. Sandro, Klaassen are miles off the pace and in reality, it could be next season before we see the best from them.

I think that RK has just under 2 seasons left on his contract - do many Blues want to see him renew it ?
