Is anyone else worried

Is anyone else worried about are lack of strikers at the club who can put the ball in the net?

My concern is the the board, koeman every man and his dog knew Lukaku was leaving and we have not replaced him, with a proven forward.

I know people are going to say Sandro... he has not proven yet, plus he is the only one.

Surely they would have lined someone up?

I'd worry that this manager has demonstrated no capacity to put together an attacking unit since he's been here.

He seems to be stockpiling players for the middle of the pitch.

That's strange, in that case someone must have made up this table up to March(ish), imagine scoring more than all the rest... jokers

You are jumping to conclusions. For all we know, Sandro will blow it up in the league (could just as easily flop). Rooney will probably improve by playing in a more direct team. If we should be worried about anything, it is our width as Mr. @davek wisely pointed out. We have a team stacked with central midfielders, but are without much of a threat on the flanks. In terms of the middle, from what I've seen of Klassen in preseason- I am very impressed. He struggled a bit in the first game of preseason, but he really came to life in that second one. You can already tell he is a step ahead in terms of decision making. The variables in the equation are Sandro/Rooney.

Worry not, my son.

Troy Deeney......that's yer only man ;)

Hilarious
We don't score you whine we score you make excuses

not making excuses or whining but seriously cannot get carried away about the game against Twente... the only real bench mark pre season will be Sevilla

I will get carried away if we have won 3 of the first 5 games.... that will be my benchmark

Up front we need: proper target man to lead the line; two actual wingers that can cross a ball. Forget about Sigurdsson now, our priorities have changed with the signings already made.
I think lookman may step up and Lennon can add to him to cover an inevitable dip at some point. Then yes one more winger and a pivot striker decent in the air to come in would be a jaw dropping summer

Just my (conspiracy) theory, but I don't expect any more stellar signings (i.e. the likes of Sigurdsson, Giroud or Benteke), until we sell Barkley.

Lukaku, Cleverley, McGeady and Deulofeu have paid for the first incoming tranche.

Exciting as it is, don't be fooled into thinking we've got money to burn just yet...

The money's there but we are ( my humble opinion) looking at established players now; ones that only move on if they are replaced by like for like ie Giroud doesn't move unless Sanchez stays and is therefore replaced by Laczette etc...
