Is anyone else worried

Walsh; what is his job? Glorified Chief Scout or Player Identifier / Facilitator - as in; I/We need a big No.9 who can play upfront and hold the ball up, then play the give and go. Give me a list of Candidates, with all the pluses and minuses.

Seems the list had Giroud on it and nobody else

It's a bit of a worry with 11 days left.

I'm not worried, we've made massive changes to our starting team, we've improved it. Yes we've lost 25 goals in Lukaku but I'd be confident of those being replaced between Rooney, Sandro and Sigurdson. This hold up player that we need was not something Rom did anyway, he was awful at it. Im confident we've replaced Lukakus goals but if we need to wait another window to add something extra to team that he never supplied in the first place I'd take that as a transfer window. Not even city went from bang average to challenging for the league in 3 windows

How do we no it's not Ron saying no to most of the list? That's my guess.

we don't; but if he doesn't get it right on the goals for front, he won't last too long.
If there is / was a list then Walsh is covered
If Koeman has tried to line them up and they don't, for what ever reason, fancy it, what can you do.

As always with Everton - more questions than answers.

Singing Klassen eases the burden on the strikers getting goals,Rooney is the same if played behind a striker, that's 2 players there who can take the burden of goals.

Seems RK and Walsh want the goals spread out more now Lakaku is gone.

Yeah. I think there's very much an attitude of we want it and we want it now. IMO we are 2 players short of it being an almost perfect window, so if we don't bring those players in it can hardly be called a failure.

There is no denying that we are light up front though. But DCL will improve with games I'm sure and I also believe Sandro will too once he get's used to the English game and his team mates. You just feel as though we'll be missing a trick if we don't bring somebody else in to capitalise on the creativity of Siggy, Rooney and Klaassen.

We will have a fair idea where we stand after Monday. It looks like Walsh needs to pull a rabbit out of the hat with the recruitment of a new striker. The names I have seen listed so far don't fill me with confidence.

I agree with pretty much everything you said there to be honest pal. Like you say though if you'd have asked people 18 months ago would they be happy with the transfer window we've had it would have been a massive yes. A wise fella once said "Mo money, mo problems". I think that's the predicament some fans have found themselves in. It's only natural people want more but sometimes you have to sit back and take stock of what's actually changed in the past year and a half

Please rename this thread chicken licken after the chicken who ran around crying the sky us falling down .... based on absolutely no evidence whatsoever
