They can't Gerrymander a full population vote you see so this is their only trick.

It won't pass, usual tokenism from the DUP who are trying to claw back voters.
I listened to Paisley outlining this plan a few weeks ago. Even he didn't sound convinced about it. The DUP are moving in ever decreasing circles and are creating a dangerous vacuum within loyalism about the future (for which they have no credible plan).

Has Ireland got a border?

Family member of my wife has recently bought a restuarant /b & b in a small town in the south. With the current buisness climate it would be difficult to make a successful buisness with all the refurb work needed. They have been offered 30 odd thousand euros per month to host refugees. They move in this week.

My view has always remained the same. The rest of the world has been a refuge for Irish seeking better opportunities or escaping the conflict. We are welcomed the world over. We should open our doors to those in need.

Welcomed! .....with open arms i suppose ?
What Disney work of fiction have you based your statement on? - I`m stumped as to how i reply to such an uninformed post.
For starters-
You must be familiar with the No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs* signs that used to be common-place in London but maybe it`s all been air-brushed out of existence like so much else.
As for the "open our door to those in need" - get real friendo, economic migration is not good for anyone except businesses looking for cheap labour and Globalist/Corporation grifters.

*John Lydon called his autobiography after the signs.

Yes i am aware of the 'No irish, no blacks, no dogs' as you said common place in London. I also know that every country i have been too you go into the city centre and theres an Irish pub and always bump in an Irish citizen. The Irish have a good reputation the world over.

Funny that you called my opinion uniformed while you mention discrimination of Irish in London many years back. Your opinion seems to be informed by the past not present.

Migration is good beyond an economic context. Diversity should be embraced, not feared thinking our identity will be eroded.

I`ve heard the slogan "diversity is our strength"- what exactly does it mean?
