The DUP would go nuts at that. A bit ironic seeing as they were the biggest Brexit cheerleaders of the lot.Yay....that will be an improvement.
Parts of NI have been stuck in 1690 for far too long![]()
ooof, a clanger there Pete. I haven't read your backpedaling posts yet...Yes I have. But the ROI doesn’t get to vote on whether NI joins the ROI. Nor does the U.K. get to vote on the ROI joining the U.K.....
Probably best if you lads allow the grown ups to converse. If you have an actual input fine, but this schoolground ya boo stuff doesn’t really add anything.....
tbh, some over there are 100yrs behind the times with their sectarian shight, so an hour won't fuss them at all.not sure if this has been posted![]()

He did a job here indeed and his approach was just what was needed.More proof, if any more were needed, that Johnson (or more accurately his puppet master Cummings) hold NI in complete contempt.
The best Secretary of State NI has had since Mo Mowlam has been sacked, presumably for being too good at the job.
Practicalities will always outweigh sensibilities lolFWIW I just had an email from a great
friend of mine for 33 years who is of East Belfast Loyalist stock. He said that he will be getting "a passport with a harp on it" !!!
I don't think he is exactly ready to go into a United Ireland, but this would have stuck in his craw years ago. It is probably a pragmatic decision to facilitate travel etc in the EU
Is the right answerAs I say, if NI wish to join the ROI and the ROI wish to have them then then it should happen....
What do you think should happen as regards NI and independencePete, you rarely add much outside off your ‘...’ after an I’ll thought through comment. Like many a type of pub bore you feel you have a right to be listened to or have your opinion respected when it’s often based on nothing more than slights on people (more than once whole nations or cultures) or weird ‘reckons’ from the right wing of yourbrain.
