Sounds wonderful, and while I agree with your sentiments do we then give in to all forms of blackmail. What if the Houthis (Iran backed, who are themselves backed by Russia) then say the West must stop sending arms to Ukraine or they will attack Red Sea shipping, do we give in to that as well ? This total disregard for world trade based on a spurious pretence of support for Gaza needs to be sorted. As I asked the other day, would you be happy if we just let Israel sort out the Houthis in their own way. The Houthis were asked not to attack commercial shipping, they continued and then knowing what the response would be attempted to attack U.K. and US naval assets. There is a wider message being sent here aimed at Iran. Disrupt free trade, attack civilian commercial ships or attack naval ships and you will be given a smack. This is long overdue….

The Iranians knew exactly what they wanted & they’re getting it, they’re no better than the US & UK.

Funded Hamas & provided intel for the attack & they knew what the Israel response would be. They’ve now taken 5 minutes away from assisting in the deaths of Ukrainian civilians to fund a proxy in Yemen.

Posts like this crack me up. It’s like you honestly don’t understand why the people are pissed off with the west. That their resistance and reaction is unjustified

Also, if it wasn’t a trade route, no one would care however, big business corporations don’t want their profits to drop so we send in the heavies.

Would israel accept torrents of hezbollah blood as currency for hamas/gazan blood instead, especially in light of certain allies actively helping in drawing that blood? Lets say the us and uk decide to dole out some nastiness in lebanon on israels behalf, might that suffering and murder sate their bloodlust elsewhere? gazans get respite, the west gets to bully a smaller threat, israel satisfy their murderous leaders, and iran gets a poke in the eye.
