Just found out about Joel Robles and seeing the progress of the Delofeu loan which looks promising. Right now is exciting as fu*k to be a blue. Anyone that isn't needs their heads testing. We never had this under Moyes, going into a new season full of new enthusiasm. I cannot wait. Next season is going to be amazing.

Anyone with negative comments save it for the negative threads. This is strictly for my blues who are happy, excited and enthusiastic!
Totally agree with you mate

Delusional. We've lost two outfield players and gained two outfield players.

People are getting way ahead of themselves, and I feel sorry for Martinez if it doesn't all go to plan because he'll end up feeling an almighty backlash.

The Wigan trio aren't going to catapult us to the Champions League, of that I'm certain. Just look at our immediate rivals for that 4th spot, they're improving their already superior squads with moves for quality players, we've picked up a couple of decent pros from a team that was relegated.

I'm sorry to say I'm with you on this.

like most on here I look around the other general footie boards and the reaction to Kone signing was probably more positive than on GOT now with the other 2 ex-wigan (let's get it right they're ours now) signing it's become a joke and I can understand why.

As has been said we need a 'name', a marquee signing or at least someone who's not ex-****in Wigan at least then I'll be slightly more convinced about Martinez, his staff and more so Kenwright's commitment to pushing on and putting the Moyes era well behind us.

I'm happy with Kone and Robles, but I can't help but see Alcaraz as a waste of wages.

I can't take anyone who's played centre-back for Wigan seriously.

Moyes's style of football made going to the game a chore, the majority of the games you knew were going to be boring long ball rubbish. we deperatly needed a change.

Completely agree.

I know a lot of people on this forum won´t agree with me but Moyes dull, negative outlook made me whinge before the end. You just knew we were never, ever going to win anything with him in charge. Fortune favours the brave and Moyes was anything but brave. "...knife to a gunfight".

God help me it really was boring stuff under Moyes,if he had stayed I just could not see things changing
I am really looking forward to this new era with Bobby Martinez,COYB

TBF DM had the team playing nice football for the first part of last season - but it went a bit down hill trying to hold on for 1-0 wins etc - I feel even DM knew he had took us as far as he could - lets get behind Roberto, and see if he can get us off to a good start it will be a settling in process give him time. I feel confident he will lead the blues well if we lose our two star players BK has to give him money to try to replace them!

There's a lot to be excited for. New football, new tactics, no routine subs, no routine play, new players to watch, young blood coming through, what isn't there to like? It's a brand new era, a brand new start, onwards Evertonians.

AN IT'S A GRAND OLD TEAM TO SUPPORT............

What I am looking forward too most is the prospect of the team marching to the sound of the trumpets when we take the lead....going in for the kill instead of "shutting up shop" with negative substitutions such as the ones which cost us so dearly as the likes of Fulham and Norwich last season.
