Ive been working in Eindhoven for the last few weeks and PSV fans are saying Heitinga is a cert to sign for them before the deadline in a cash/swap with winger Dries Mertens (who is belgian).
Are we the new Chelsea ?

in Ince any good? hearing a lot about him but never seen him play, value has probably doubled since theres been a bit of hype over him (my new benchmark for transfer money is Matt Jarvis and Steven Fletcher, possibly 25 million for the pair, dear lord...surprised the RS werent in for them yet)

I try not to go overboard on young players in lower leagues as the competition is usually lesser so they can shine.

I've seen Ince a few times though and he certainly looks a player, I reckon he'll make the step up at some point easy enough. Got a great touch, superb awareness, is strong and athletic and knows where the net is. Everything would depend on price but I'd defo go in for him.

Watch him end up playing non league now like.

Barring him hitting the ale or developing a liking for Bolivian marching powder, Ince will make definitely make it imo.

He's a class act & from what I've seen of him, I think he'll cope with the step up in class & is ready for it now tbh.

Signing him would have the added benefit of rubbing the red ****es face in it.

no point in discussing RB's, moyes is happy with how we are in that position. if the thread were "if i was the everton manager" then it should be discussed. personally i'd like to sign this niang kid, shift anichebe on as he wouldn't be needed then either use the funds for donovan or maybe holtby on a loan and then he'll be out of contract if i am right. not a massive fan of dempsey but if he's still at fulham in jan and they aren't really going anywhere, that 3/4 mill we may have left over could be enough to snap him up. however, if he goes out of contract, he will hopefully be snapped up next summer, seeming as he really likes us. anyway, looking forward to the season ahead, still need a backup striker and RM for me to be very happy with our squad.

Apart from leaving us a bit short at the back this would be incredibly ace. And I love Heitinga!!

the one position we have lacked in for the last couple of years and now we seemingly have lots of possibilities, i think its great

I doubt it's got any legs either because PSV look very average this season and losing one of their best players wont help their situation

Swap deals almost never happen.

That said I'd do it because more Belgians is always a good thing.

i wouldnt heitinga was absolute class last season, played a huge part in turning us round, wouldnt blame him for wanting to go though, despite jags performance against utd hes been treated poorly and not for the first time

3 players I would like to see at Everton would be Caen, M'Baye as he seems like a decent prospect for the future. 2 Million.
Adam Johnson a season long loan as we wouldn't be able to afford him.
Charlie Adam 5 million. We haven't got a lot of cover for the CM now as Cahill and Rodwell have gone.
