If you were David Moyes, who would you buy?

Yup, which is why I mentioned that they'd stick it to us on price...was using him more as an age reference

Hope you're right but it's just a gut feeling that if Tim was to go down for any length of time, we'd be screwed. Tim's been a rock as far as his health goes but sh*t happens...the guy didn't even want to come off the pitch for the last game of the season when it was obvious he was hurtin', that's how much of a gamer he is.

Dunno mate, but I think we all need to pray he keeps healthy. Hope I'm completely wrong if something were to happen but it's just a gut feeling.

I do understand your concerns, it's not ideal relying on one goalkeeper to stay fit for an entire season. That said, Howard's health record in general is superb, and I honestly don't think Moyes is even thinking along the lines of a new keeper right now.

But at the end of the day, this thread is titled what it's titled for a reason. Everyone's entitled to be a different David Moyes haha.

Have we made another offer for Giorgos Katidis yet? Because our first one was rejected.

Yeah, whats happening with him?

I want another winger or midfielder who can play wide or central. coughholtbycough Other than that I want to see the youth like Garbutt, Duffy, Cisco, Vellios, etc.

Holtby said he would only think about a move to the prem after this season as he wants to play in the champions league first.
Samaras is the worst player I've ever seen 9/10 games, then he'll pop up with a boss performance, so not worth it.
Obraniak is a star but i doubt we could afford him.
I want us to sign a right midfielder, not an attacking or centre mid playing on the right.
That or another central midfielder if Barkley's going out on loan.

It's been bugging me since the Olympics but I believe that a deal with one of the ladies rythmic gymnastic teams (Russians, Italians .. any actually, except the GB Team as they had a couple of mingers).

Pros and cons .. ball control was excellent, good movement off the ball, some eye popping skills .. and there are other very obvious benefits, not least in 15 years time we'd have an academy full of natural athletes all of whom are literally 'home-grown'.

I'll leave the cons to others .. a few pissed off WAGS and that's all I can think of.

If Newcastle are still diddling about then we should jump on Debuchy if possible. Hibbo and Nev are serviceable but we need someone with a touch of quality to make the RB/Mirallas partnership something like Pienaar/Baines.

If we still needed a winger/pacy forward/guy who makes stepovers effortless - Yarmolenko.

Pros: He's awesome and stuff. Stepovers lads.

Cons: If we were to get him we have to pay all the money we received from Rodwell. And we already spent some of that.

Anyway, more realistically - this Debuchy guy.

If we had plenty of cash then sure I'd want dubuchy but given we haven't I think RB is next summers possible problem...

Hibbert and Neville can do a job at RB. The worry is against the lesser teams when u need your FB's to get forward and overlap ect. I think Coleman needs to be given the chances this year to show if he's capable of taking over at RB. If not then next summer we may well HAVE to buy.

My own opinion is RB is an area we need to seriously look at, Coleman looks like he will never make it, Hibbo is getting on, Neville is dreadful.

Moses??? Apparently chelsea are not going to make anymore signings, so we can go for him?

If they won't sell him to Chelsea for £8 million then they wont sell him to us for less

also, he's not very good
