As a sub post. I will take him back also. We just need to raise our game. he pissed me off when he left(only as I had pinned my hopes on him), and he gets on my tits more often than not. But sorry mates. The boy is blue, and I have stopped resenting him. I will take him back with a beer and a hug.
 
I'd have him back, there is no room for resenting a genuinely world class football to the detriment of the team.
 
I hated him for the way he left, one week before the end of the transfer window, but these days emotion has no place in football. It would depend on the context of the situation of his return if he improved the teamor the current leauge status i would welcome him back. I care about the club and its improvement not the personalites involved!(y)

I can't stand the sight of him and would consider giving up EFC if we ever had him back. he waved two fingers at all our hopes and aspirations, he went to compound matter by lying about David Moyes in his book. His celebration of kissing the vermin's shirt in front of the Gwladys was the ultimate act of a traitor, unforgivable means that in my book. At Everton we have standards and principles and they should never be compromised for anybody(n)

Only if he fired Stretford as his representative before we started negotiating with him.
 
If he wanted to come back and he was still of a decent age, say under 30, then I think I'd probably say yes, you'll never forget what has transpired, but its difficult to not want Everton to become better.

As has been pointed out already, while fernadez may not have shown the ultimate betrayal that rooney did, the majority of people were able to put it behind them and give him another go.

Sim mate he never came through the ranks making fans like me drool thinking of the day he matured enough to play in the first team, he never showed a t shirt once a blue which the gobshites still taunt us with ,he never told lies in a book about the manager and the clincher he never kissed utds badge the end hope he never comes back I have never hated any ex player as much(n)
