You know the fans have lost it when they expect our best tackler to be Christiano Ronaldo on the ball. If we had a better team around him, nobody would complain about his lack of production (because that isn’t his job). Yes, it would be nice if he could hit a lob like Gareth Barry in his prime, but he is far superior at winning the ball and steals it in vital areas.
