2018/19 Idrissa Gueye

It’s a tough one. We are quite abysmal with Gueye in the team but we are even worse without him. I’m all for a better ball playing midfielder coming in but unless the rest of the team suddenly learn how to pass and actually do something with the ball when they have it it’s a waste of time at the moment. It’s also a catch 22 situation as we lose possession all the time and Gueye seems to be the only sod capable of winning the ball back but then when he gets it he passes it back to the opposition and has to try and win it back. If the whole team suddenly learns how to pass properly we might get somewhere.
BINGO. He's needed, we aren't fixing what he covers up any time soon. Maybe if we buy a new RB, a new RW, etc. We also need a backup for Gana, right now we are complete crap when he doesn't play.

Nah. This isn’t happening.

The rumours don’t make sense.

They’re all saying he’s basically agreed terms with PSG but no fee agreed. Doesn’t work like that does it??

I agree with you, thats why I'd sell him for £20 million. He is a decent defensive midfielder, that is all.

So you would purposely leave millions on the table to meet your valuation? The market values him at more and we are crap without him. No less than 40.

Frankly, if they want to throw Cavani in to buy now the purchase price, cool, we could use him for a couple years.

One of the richest clubs in the world, which has two of the best players in the world, and which has qualified for the CL knockout stages wants to sign him at 29 and he plays for a club which has no European football, isn't likely to anytime soon and which would more than double its money on him. I don't think he would need much time to agree terms.
