Almost certainly won't happen. LCAB has said it's a long shot due to Schalke playing hardball - maybe if they have a replacement now, we could get him. Saw him play for Schalke the other night, he played well and scored in a 2-2 draw with Hannover (I think). Would be the perfect for our 4-2-3-1/4-4-1 system imo. We can dream...

Very relieved Afellay did not end up over the park. Although he hasn't had the best of times at Barca he definitely has loads of talent.

I don't think Schalke will sell Holtby . They need a big squad for their CHL campaign and he seems happy at Schalke at the moment .
