I Hate Phil Neville

All the whingers sound like Kopite schoolgirls to me, coming out with the same crap as they did. I'll bet the same people giving him the stick defended him for years when he was Captain as well.

If all our players were as dedicated to football as he was we'd be doing just fine. never thought he was much good but he was certainly dedicated to the cause when he was here.

No mate, not me anyway, obviously he's the captain of my team so I'll support him, but I didn't like the idea he was captain, or the fact that he was holding a spot in the starting eleven when he was clearly past it.

I really doubt it.

You can accuse Tubey of a lot of things but he's not someone prone to changing opinions on a whim.

Tubey has real hatred for the man that is clear.

I don't recall much of this abuse before say the last two seasons he was here with the Wigan game being the final straw for most. Everybody or at least the vast majority were behind him as captain. I would never have had him as Captain myself but I wasn't strongly against him being captain and I don't recall many people voicing their opinion against him either, most of it seems to have came since he left.

Phil Neville - made the most of his talent, decent pro, should have retired from playing at least a year and probably two years before he actually did. He did a job for us for a few years though so I bear him no malice.

His wife is fit too.

My main issue with him is that he's a veggie.

She looks just like him but with long hair

I think this comes down to your perspective then. I see Neville as a guy who captained us to victory at Wembley, who captained us to regularly finishing above Liverpool and regularly finishing in the top 6 and for that should be held in higher esteem.

I also think, captains of Everton who put transfer requests in to leave the club when we looked like we were going down are worse. What kind of an example does that set, to jump ship when the going gets tough?

I do appreciate for others, the view of not winning a trophy is 6-7 years will trump that. That's why football is a subjective game.
Not for nothing mate, but thats just blatantly untrue. Twice. In the 7 years he was captain we finished above them twice.

Agree he gave his all here n the longevity we got was excellent given what we paid(dont recall is being much was it approx 3m ???). he was decent at RB but horrendous in CM for me and was a better captain than jags for me but i think was vexes ppl me included is the garbage he talks as a pundit since he retired. Its clear he manu through n through even though they fired him!
