The first was a hard shot through the keepers legs as he scrambled quickly back across goal to get in position but got unlucky because you have to stand with your legs open and the striker found the gap, and the second was an almost perfect free kick into the top corner.

I thought he was a great captain until I realised he was the poster boy for mediocrity and made a load of stupid comments.
Went right off him even before the 'top 10' comments. I remember him saying after losing to Liverpool in the FA Cup semi that we'd "put it right" against United at the weekend.
An Everton captain thinking a point at Old Trafford with nothing to play for makes amends for bottling it to our biggest rivals at Wembley. Sake.

Thought he was a decent servant for the club, played well when required, obviously stayed at least a season too long. That dive in the derby was embarrassing but we all make mistakes. Cheap for what we got and bear him no ill will
