I wrote the season off at the start of November&last night only goes further to reinforce my decision...lack of shape,ideas or any real game plan....mosh better get the cheque book out for 2017-18....needs to be a proper clear out...Benny hill gets one last chance in my book to actually do something&no luxury for excuses....its great being a toffee :-(

I can't argue with the first bit but it was pretty turgid stuff against a team we should have torn apart. Where was the quality? At any time?

That was never likely to happen though, was it?

As much as I don't like admitting it, we're simply not the same Everton as 3-4 years ago and we need to stop thinking we are.

Thanks for that link, spent a good few minutes reading the Sunderland supporters reaction to getting mauled at

I've personally stopped fuming after 3 years of this.

I've come to accept the fact we aren't very good and await to see if the new board want to do something about it or if the team I cheer for will just tread water for the foreseeable. Least we know not to get hopes up and just be happy for a win rather than fume when we can't beat the teams at the bottom.

Ironic as martinez could only beat the teams at the bottom last year, now we can't.

Only 3 years Ash I haven't bin happy about the team since abt 1988
