Richarlison hasn't had a pre season rest and played in both the Copa America and Olympics straight into the Saints game.

DCL is still recovering from that toe injury

Doucoure had a foot injury from too much workload last season

Allan has only just truly recovered from that hamstring injury

Its a long season and playing our best players away to some lower league outfit in the 2nd round is daft.

Brands is the one to blame that we dont have much in the squad to rotate with.

We played great. Branthwaite and Nkounkou were great.

I defended Keane against the Saints but he looks like he's on a slippery slope and it's a steep one too.

Nice assist from Davies and likewise from Gomes, who almost looked like he had pace for a split second. Kean's goal should have stood but it was a close 50/50. Terrific work from Niels in that situation.

Kean's red card looked like fluffy handbags. I've seen the replay three times and I still don't know for sure why he got sent off. Surely a yellow would have done it.

Digne was good when he came on, lifted the team a little I thought.
