Howard or Robles in Goal against Arsenal in FA Cup

Arsenal rarely shoot from range, which is where Howard is the better keeper than Joel, but instead they try and work it into the box and create '1 on 1's within the 6 yard box. This is Robles greatest strength, so I can see the logic.

Howard Is terrible with long shots, if Howard is better than Robles at long shots then weve got a problem.

I think Robles will play. On the basis thats what Martinez did last year so its clearly something he believes in. I remember on cup final day last year there Wigan fans were gobsmacked he played Robles over Ali al Habsi in the final, so why would he change it for us at the 1/4s

Play Robles on sat v West Ham then I would have more confidence in him starting against Arsenal.

He does work with the players every day.

He won't just be turning up to have a kick around with a bunch of strangers.

He played Robles all the way to the final for Wigan.

I think he will play Howard myself, but I wouldn't mind Robles starting.

I'm not Howard's biggest fan but even I don't think Robles is better, though I must say Robles won an FA Cup before Howard had even left Jersey
