Would there be any greater fitting than us going all the way to win the League Cup this year. I'm not one for going all kopite and "let's win it for **insert name**" but I do hope should we make it past Boro that the manager/Big Dunc/Kenwright etc. drill it into the players of just how much a trophy means to this great clubs fans and how they have the ability to emulate the great sides of HK in winning silverware and marking their places in history.
I would love it to be that way. However.......... I don't think a lot of the players ..... have turned up since the announcement of his death. I hope after .... being there today........... THEY GET IT Now.

The day Howard died, I cried all day. The man who caused so, so many of the happiness moments of my childhood - had passed away.

It was mother's day the following day and I had booked a table in a really smart restaurant with my missus as a thank you for the two marvellous kids she gave me.

Before desert and having not said a word to her all evening, she said to me to stop crying as it was embarrassing her in the restaurant.

You didn't even cry when my mother died , she said to me. Did your mother win us two Leagues, an FA Cup and a European title?

Howard, you could have tipped us off you were on the way out as I have only just patched that row over!!!

Hasta siempre héroe.

Think I have something in my eye watching those videos on the OS.

Kenwright talking about him coming back the third time and sorting his salary etc, and Howard saying "Don't worry", and how proud he was to come home. Too much for me.

Am watching the same thing now as we speak .. kenwright was brilliant again in his speeches , let us down on a few things but can never let us down on his love for everton

Brilliant.
I've cried more than family deaths tonight too mate.
I'm sure I will get to the bottom of that, but it's out of character for me to be so emotional.
My dad emailed me some pics of me and Howard last night when I was a kid, I guess the mid 80's lads really were my heroes more than I thought.

Utter blubbing mess here.
I've put that off all day, listening to it all.
Kenwright, class.
Same as mate ,lost my mother a few months ago didn't think the pain and sadness would ever be so bad after losing her, just go's to show what a family everton is to us all I've been blubbing all night watching royle reid etc . Thanks for all the great times hk rip.
