How many times have you seen Everton live?

Quite a lot, started going in 1948, haven't missed many home matches since, loads of away matches, cups reserve and youth matches, plenty at Anfield watching them when I didn't go to see Everton away, good years and more bad years but
looking back it was worth whatever it cost me, and I hope I get quite a few more now that things are looking up again!!!!!

wow 1948, fantastic sir!

best memory?

Loads simply loads...Villa away LC 84 at final whistle in tears cos we'd got to Wembley for first time and I'd get to go (was too young in 77). Spurs away 85 we knew the league was ours. Being swept along Goodison Road after the Bayern game everyone was just buzzing at what we all felt we'd been a part of.
Stupid things like my dad (RIP) waving down our coach like a copper in the middle of the road as we arrived back from wembley in 95 arms aloft like he'd scored the winner himself. I could go on. I'm sure everyone has their own personal little things.

Thinking back through some odd games I attended, I went to an Everton pre-season friendly at Fulham, probably August 1990, ended 2-2. It was at the time, Big Nev was unhappy and had fallen out or whatever. Anyway, I have no recollection of who scored our goals that night, would anyone be able to help me out please. I think the match was a testimonial for a Fulham defender (Scott?). Ta.

Got countless "amusing" tales of following the blues,in the wild recesses of my ageing mind,we all must have, maybe
deserving of it's own thread @The Esk ?:) One that springs to mind was a game at Old Trafford,Rod Hull (of Emu fame;))had tragically fallen off his roof trying to adjust his aerial as Man United were playing a Champions League game,we were playing them at Old Trafford the following saturday, anyhow gets there and was aware of laughing and pointing going on a few rows behind, looks around and there's a big, royal blue banner with "Rod Hull RIP,Emu says the picture is still s***elol)Forgive my use of the "S" word on this occasion please mods:)

Not sure, Avid home matchgoer between about 82 and 97 and then moved to the Middle East.

Will get 4/5 in before Christmas, it's a fair trek but it's an itch that needs to be scratched from time to time

That tragedy occurred in the windswept wastelands of Romney Marsh, Kent in some shack he owned after Rod Hull had lost most of his fortune on bad property buying decisions. His son was helping, watching the TV reception and then running out to say, "left a bit, hold it there".
