How many times have you seen Everton live?

Only a handful of times, maybe 7 or 8.

I suppose I've been a bit of a newcomer to being a blue, my dad's always been a huge supporter but we've always been a rugby playing family so never able to get to Saturday 3pm games.

Since I stopped playing a few years ago and become more emotionally invested in Everton I've moved away from the north west so getting to games becomes very expensive.

Cannot wait for the day I move back to the area and can buy a ST though.

Quite a lot, started going in 1948, haven't missed many home matches since, loads of away matches, cups reserve and youth matches, plenty at Anfield watching them when I didn't go to see Everton away, good years and more bad years but
looking back it was worth whatever it cost me, and I hope I get quite a few more now that things are looking up again!!!!!
Christ, that's some time Dave,my own Dad must have started around 1948ish, he was born in 1938,and like you, would often go and watch "them"if we were away;),he's still got a season ticket currently, always goes on about some of our duff centre forwards from back then Jock Dodds,Juliessen?Harry Catterick a bit of a duffer as a centre forward too according to the old fella:)

Mine's a calculated guess as I've lived in Melbourne since I was 15 in early 1961.I can say with certainty that I've seen
Everton 29 times since then. 28, mostly aways, 17, between August 1970 and September 1971 when I was on a working
holiday/honeymoon and based in London.

The other one was v Watford, first match of 2006/7.

My grandad first took me in the early 1950's when we were in the second division:blush:, though I didn't realise that at the time, and I
reckon I went to about 120 matches before we left Liverpool in 1960.

Oh, and 4 friendlies in Melbourne. Two in 1964, one in I987, I think, and one about five years ago. So, about 150 odd.

I haven't finished yet, I hope, and I'd love to see us again at Goodison and at the new stadium. Fingers crossed.

Yes seen them and a couple more like Oscar Hold and Cyril Pinchbeck, but to be honest their careers were held up by the Second World War, so they missed out there, your dad is a bit older than me, not much, so I hope I can keep on going like
him, we have seen plenty of duffs like he says, we have also seen the best, the very best, ask him to tell you about
T.G. Jones a centre half of pure perfection, that is if he hasn't already told you.

Heard that one pinchbeck Dave, yeah another on the old mans roll of dishonour!!Yep TG Jones, the prince of centre halves!we had another Tommy Jones as well,my old man always refers to Tommy "bonecrusher" Clinton, used to send the wingers onto the old cinder track and missed a pen in the semi v Bolton we lost 4-3,he missed it at 4-0 down but got held responsible for our defeat poor fella!!!

only a baby me, estimated around 80-100 games over the years, these days try to fly in twice a year, never yet been to an away European trip which is a long held ambition

Quite a lot!!

I was a STH (UB Row A, Seats 237, 238, 239) throughout our glory days of the mid 80's...I think from 85 to 89/90 or something, just before we moved darn sarf!

Since then though, I've made it to many London games, many of the Villa (a) games, and a couple or three games at GP a season.

That was of course until I made the move State side, now I watch every single game of ours live on TV. ;)

Was checking back today, as I was enjoying this thread, and wanted to bring my personal log up to date. In the 2001-02 season, I went to 12 games, score us score in just 4 of them, 7 goals in all, and 4 of those came in one game at Derby Co. after Moyes took over. God, that season under Smith was grim.
