Does it really matter where your from. I regard myself a scouser despite me being from Huyton, but does that make me a bigger Evertonian than those from distant shores? Of course not. It makes no difference what colour we are, where we are from and what our beliefs are, we all have blue blood in us and support the greatest club in the world. Now can this daft thread be closed?

TXB Some people cannot even explain or answer your question.

Scouse is food, that is to say a stew of sorts. So in the old days when Liverpudlians had nothing to eat apart from a pan of scouse they were called Scousers.That is people who ate scouse. Scouse was sort of a Liverpool speciality dish.

Not that it matters that much to being an Everton supporter, I am a scouser. But now in modern times the word means people coming from Liverpool.
