Player Valuation: £60m
It really isnt.

- Tell the Defenders to not hoof the ball unless absolutely Necessary.

- Replace the players who are playing bad (no matter how big their
reputation) (Lescott)

- Tell the goalie to roll the ball out

- Play a 4-4-2 formation

- Buy Fernandes or another creative CM

- Make Substitutions when needed - not when we concede, or around the 87th minute.

- Start Vaughan

Get a new manager who wants good football?

That's the only way it'll happen, we certainly won't see it consistently under David Moyes.

It's just not his style, it never has been.

But surely he realises that hoofing doesnt work? And it isnt difficult to tell Yobo/Jagielka NOT to hoof.

He's been here for 6 years now, nothing has changed. We've had patches of good football but nothing more.

He isn't going to change, he has his style of football and he'll stick to it. If we want different and more entertaining football then we may aswell look for a new manager. Obviously it depends on what you like.

We need a Gerrard, a Barry, a Lampard, a Fabregas in the middle of the park. Holds the balls, sees the pass, dictates play.

Arteta could do it but Moyes wont change.

Fernandes isnt the answer, nor is a change of manager i think Moyes's tactics are dictated to a large extent in playing in a way hat suits our players and that is dictated by our resources.

Two things.

1. David Moyes needs to go and watch Arsenal or Barca training.
2. We need players that have a first touch and can keep possession of the ball. Good players never ever lose the ball when they're challenged by one player. Lots of our players aren't confident enough that they're good enough to do that, so they [Poor language removed] themselves and get rid of it. Need to be better footballers and back themselves more.

We have small technically gifted midfielders, how does long ball percentage football suit them?

It doesn't, that is quite obvious.

From what ive seen mate the balme lies primarily with the midfilders there not showing for it enough form the back four, their not going to hoof it up the feild for the sake of it if there is a better oppurtunity to pass, but at the same time there going to hoof it if theres no other option.

It's a mixture of both, the players and the manager.

Moyes doesn't like his defence taking risks, I've seen him say it time and time again in interviews. He's got a "get rid" mentality, old school defending. Good teams do the opposite, they pass the ball out ot defense.

If your team is doing it them you instruct Osman or Rodwell to drop deep and give the defence an option. It's called tactics. If they aren't doing it move a man in in the middle who will, Mikel Arteta.

We don't have an attacking game plan, there's no link up play at all. We hoof it up field and hope our quality players pick it up in the final third.

The fact that he can't get a team playing with the likes of Yakubu, Saha, Baines, Osman, Arteta, Pienaar, Cahill etc playing decent football just proves to me that the man doesn't play that yet.

Tony Mowbray can get West Brom retaining possession and pass and move, he'd had far less money than Moyes.

I don't want rid because his record speaks for itself, he gets results. If we want to move on though then the football has to change, he needs to change his mentality.
