Seeing my daughter on Christmas day for the first time in 28 years, since she was 12. All I know about the turkey is that the roast potatoes will be basted in its fat. Yum

I have just cooked a fray bentos pudding pie, which was 98% inch thick 'pastry'. With some gravy in it, which had 2mm of grease oil floating on top of it.

I gave my turkey a good stuffing this morning. It’s currently hung in the pantry waiting for my mate Geoff to come round to help me roast it. Geoff has all the tools for the job and ensures me that he has roasted many a bird in his time.

I think this particular bird is going to go down very well. Me and Geoff are already contemplating who gets first dabs at seconds.

Before you ask, Geoff is a breast man and I love a bit of leg, the bigger the better for me!
