Horse Racing

Squire in the 3 o’clock at lingfield! 9/2 at the minute and has already been heavily backed this morning, horses racing 90+ can’t get it off the bridle on the gallops.. I’m just passing on the info I’ve just got.
Had that same tip of a lad at work.

Arguably the busiest day of the year for the nag racing tomorrow.

What do we think about the King George?

It's an absolutely corking field. Might Bite is the most intriguing horse in training, Bristol DM has just won the Betfair by 57 lengths in a run rated 185 by Timeform, and Thistlecrack this time last year was supposed to be the 2nd coming of Arkle..

I would personally go with Fox Norton at the current prices. He's been an absolutely rock solid performer since his return from injury this time last year, either winning or hitting the frame every time out. This will be the toughest race any of these horses have been in, and imo any of the top 6 could win it.

Massively hard race to call.
How I miss the days of having backed Kauto Star ante post with enough to pay for the whole of Xmas !
Will be watching the weather actually as could be bad overnight, with the intention of backing Might Bite.

Thistlecrack has the class but not the form.

TBH We don't know if Thistlecrack is the same horse as before his injury (tendon injuries are supposed to be very serious in horses), and even if he is, bear in mind that the most impressive thing he's done over fences was win last year's KGIV in a sub-par race. He still has a lot to prove to be considered a great chaser. Tomorrow's race will tell us a lot more.

Nichols Canyon & Zabana gone to horsie heaven yesterday :-(
Shocking run from Sizing John, while the "Yorkhill for the GC" campaign looks stillborn.

Couldn’t help but notice something in the first race tomorrow at Cheltenham.

Daryl Jacob rode a winner for Henry Daly a few days ago, Daly’s horses are flying at the moment by the way and he has one in this race.
Yet Jacob is riding a 16/1 shot called ‘my charity’, I’ll have a few quid each way on it I think and also have my usual bet.

We went for a gamble on two of our dogs today, first scooted in at 3/1. The second was backed in from 8/1 to 4/1 in one show. Missed the break and ran on like a boss to no avail. Miles clear after the line.
FFS.
Been a great year though, and fingers crossed for 2018 to you all.

Ravens Lady was fancied to beat the 4/7 fav in the 3.00 at Wolves just now.
Four runner race.

How on earth does the jockey not get a run in a 4 runner race to finish second ?

Incredible, and I know all the syndicate were at the track.. Hope they tore him a new one.

I swerve most racing nowdays mate. Only big meetings or tips.
The syndicate for this horse turned down a decent bid for the animal from a Hong Kong stable, to keep it and run it today and on Good Friday here.
Went off 5/2 today and should have gagged in.

On a side note, my local bookies was armed robbed by a pair of smackheads last night, and the bizzies caught the dirty junkie scumbags within an hour.
Nice work.

haha amazing what a bit of local knowledge can do. Like you i stick to the main meetings i thought i had a system for the flat about 10 years ago but gave up before they broke my legs.

Horses between 6 and 8 years old win the Welsh National, low weight preferred.

You’re welcome.

...you know I look for a bit of value. You’re right about the trends but now and then an old fella goes in. O’Faolain’s Boy hasn’t run for the best part of a year but Geraghty has been booked for the ride by Welsh based trainer Rebecca Curtis. Probably wasting my money as usual but couldn’t resist a couple of quid e/w @ 33-1.
