What happened to Gold Dancer was indefensible to be honest and the reason why I have turned off jump racing over the past 6 years. Don't know if I can be bothered to even have a bet tomorrow on the National after that. Much prefer flat racing nowadays.

Can't argue with this. I started to dislike racing when so called top trainer Gordon Elliot was photographed sitting on a dead horse that had just died on his gallops.
The Gold Dancer race was terrible and that jockey only had one thing on his mind and that was to win the race.
I was fuming with the vet after the race too, trying to justify how the horse got the best care, 'kin seriously.
This meeting was the first bets I've had in ages but I think I'll just stop altogether with racing and stick to footy bets.

Yeah I saw this, suprised with the length of the sentence but sounds like the guys injuries were pretty bad.

Meanwhile Katie price is on like her 13th driving ban and still hasn’t spent a day in prison.

She’s apparently bankrupt and yet all she does is post on instagram about jetting to Dubai

I read he is likely to serve 18 months under the current guidelines. The recorder appeared to be quite apologetic about the sentence she had to give as she mentioned the fact that had he been convicted 13 days later new sentencing guidelines could have applied and a suspended sentence could have been given.
