.... I've just noticed that only the top four in the Premier League have conceded less goals than us this season.

Amazing, my concern when Silva got the job was that defensively he may be a bit negligent, a la Martinez. Hopefully the attackers will click soon in front of goal.

Tbf it looks like the defence was priority for brands and silva. They made sure of Mina and digne and also got Zouma in ong with gomes.. Which has worked out very well.

Now we need goals. So I'm expecting at least one recognised striker in Jan.

Would transform us having a seasoned prem striker up top

Silva is spot on with his analysis we need to be quicker against these sides who sit back and counter. We were too slow against Huddersfield and Newcastle. I don’t think Watford will sit back as much as those sides but there is definitely a lot of improvement needed in that final third still.
