Lot of piss taking going on too mate which is disrespectful to somebody who has just died, regardless.

But yes I agree. 100% expected on here. It is what it is. Its not going to change my life which is already as fcked up as it will ever get so just accept it.
Maybe it is but it is also pretty understandable. I don't really get why someone dying would change anybodies opinions on somebody/something.

I guess there is something to be said about if you cant say anything nice dont say anything etc but well, it's a massive news story isnt it?

No mate, class to me is common decent behaviour….and tbh there’s not a lot of it on show tonight…

Faking being at all bothered or upset or 'faux' doffing of the cap to someone who frankly lived in a gilded bubble isn't really class though mate is it.

Not exactly gonna go and have a beer celebrating it as I 'classlessley' did when Thatcher died but how anyone can be upset by a 90+ year old dying whose greatest hardship in life was her daughter in law loving a Muslim and facilitating the covering up for her relatives variety of crimes is beyond me.

Not a fan of the Royal family, nowadays they’re a glorified Tourist Trap.

Some of the behaviour over time has been dispicable.

That said, it’s going to be a tough announcement for some and I’ll gladly respect that. Don’t get these weird shouts about her “being in the mud”, and so on.

Just have a bit of taste, you can be not bothered, delighted, but don’t be a bellend.

You can hate the idea of Monarchy but it's hard to not have respect for the Queen, a sad day, she won't be replaced easily
Racist homophobe husband, Drove her daughter in law to the brink of suicide, had a son in Andrew who well, was like Glyfi on steds.

Much respect.

Love the way she spoke up constantly for the working class, the Dockers, the miners, how she helped out and promoted multiculturalism - Dodi and Diane felt that love shining through, but well she went to visit some bombed buildings in broad daylight during the second world war so a true one of us

Yeah. I get why people are against the monarchy. Absolutely no issues with that and in many aspects I probably agree with them. It's taking the piss out of somebody's death I don't get.

But as I said, I'm not losing sleep over it. I fully expected it on here but accept it too.

Indeed a tragedy.

News today that a 96 year old billionairess died peacefully in her castle surrounded by her children and grandchildren who had been flown in by private jet at public expense. The Queen lived a life of unimaginable luxury like that of, well, a Queen.

Elizabeth Windsor had experienced the great loss of her loving husband Phil, a Duke, taken too soon at just 99. He too passed away peacefully last year in another of their castles.

Elizabeth leaves behind her children Charles, who alas has never worked a day in his 74 years, Anne who once rode ponies and Andrew who liked helicopters, antiperspirant and dodgy peadophile friends. Sorry and Edward. Always forget Edward. Nope he's never worked a day either.

So it's absolutely right the country now faces the sad loss and makes light of its own problems that clearly pale into insignificance at this time of national despair.

Trust me, tomorrow is another day... (and hope things aren't as bleak as that could be read).
Four days of state mourning, & then 11 days to the funeral.'.....
My older brother I spoke to tonight in 1953 on the day of King George's funeral - the respect was far greater massive street parties - main sandwiches on the menu Egg butties.......he was about 4 years old no TVs in those days just a radio on - to console the King who died young ..,..Cancer .....a young Elizabeth thrown inst the deep end ......
