Saha's form is woeful right now. I find it interesting that people want rid of though. EVERY PLAYER has a bad spell of form. You don't ship 'em out at the first sign of it.

Yak and Beckford should be leading the line right now. Both need a run.

Hes on a massive wage though mate, 60k odd a week.

I don't know about being a regular goalscorer, but Yakubu can have a big impact on how the team plays, and his presence in the side benefits those around him, Cahill especially. Beckford's showing signs of good play, I think he still needs a bit of time, but I'm happy with him. Saha can change a game from the bench, and has done in the past, that's the best role I'd give him at present. Cahill's doing fine, and he is basically a forward anyway.

In the short term, I think we'll have to make do, but it's going to be a big summer for Moyes, he's going to have to be creative in the transfer market and raise some cash.

So.

If every player in the Prem was shipped off due to their current form not being perceived to be in line with their wages, you'd have over 50% turnover each year.

Hasnt earned it for me mate and that is a huge wage in terms of his contribution one of our top earners. If there was no Saha and that wage went toward clocking Pienaar salary uup a few notches i wouldnt be upset to be honest, would prefer Vaghan or Big Vic to get a run to be honest.

That 8mill from Gala looks pretty sweet right now!

The operative words being "right" and "now."

He can still do it, he just isn't on form right now. He had a decent year last year and it's not like the entire team is tearing it up. They're all low on confidence. This happens with us every year before we go on one of those runs where we're unstoppable.

Well if he's as bad as you say, then no one will take him. We'll have to cut him loose and we'll still be on the hook for the remainder of his contract.

shaha and yak have seen better days

to early on beckford but his finishing did look league 1 on saturday

needs longer and more starts.

If I had a choice of having Pienaar on top form or Saha on top form, I'd be taking Pienaar. If that meant shipping Saha to pay Pienaar, that'd be ok too.
I agree with you about showing some loyality to players in bad form to a degree, but when you haven't scored since February and aren't pulling your finger, it's hard work supporting him.

Can't say I do tbf..

Yak was coming into form than Moyes droped him for a dismal Saha.. This tells me Yakubu has fallen out with Moyes..
Saha looks to be going at 60% NSNO ? Not with Saha.
Beckford I like, but have never rated him. He gives us energy and heart which is good enough for me at this point.

I think Saha or Yakubu have to go come January.. If not both, depending on if we can get some quality in. (Doubtful)
If Yakubu and Moyes can't work out their differences than maybe it's time for Yakubu to move on. I would rather sell Saha though.

:Side note: Santa Cruz is NOT the answer.. He is so injury prone and hasn't played much in what two years?
Donovan could only play as a supporting striker.. He wouldn't do well as a lone striker in Moyes system, plus he is more of a winger. So he is not the answer..
