I suppose many of you know I was once on SoccerAM as the stranger on the sofa but it looks like may soon be on a Channel 4 'Road Wars' kind of thing. I was stopped as the car I was driving on a 24 hour test drive (Citroen C4 - not for me, the driving position crippled me) showed up as having no insurance. After a call to the dealership (Citroen, Crayford) all was explained and the cameraman asked if I minded my 'image' appearing on TV. Being the shrinking violet that I am b) I of course said I have no objection.

I have no idea what the programme is called or when it's on but I will of course keep you all up to speed, and was wondering who else had appeared on TV and why?

Oh, and I nearly forgot, I have also applied to be a contestant on Deal or No Deal :bye: (Hello mum)

Bally's Funeral . And all over the papers . I had taxi drivers beeping at me in the street , shouting , " For Bally , lad . " I nearly fukn cried .

I was on Look East when i was about 15 playing football cause the team we were playing were managed by Norwich City player Ian Culverhouse.

Unfortunatly i was in goal and we lost 4-0 but i wasn't at fault for any of the goals and was fouled for the 4th but did they mention that, did they bollocks.

Was on utv back in 1967 as a kid on a children's programme called Romper room. Have also been interviewed by Sky news and have aired a couple of times on Talk sport. Featured on the front of the Daily Mirror in 68 or 69 when I set off a fire alarm in the UTV studios. Must have been a slow news day.

On a side note, several years ago I went to Goodison on a European night, front row of the Upper Gwladys in my Scooby Doo costume complete with Everton top, and never even got a glimpse of myself. Think it might have been the FC Bale match, so long ago I can't remember, old age is a terrible thing.

ihave with my partner he is a man u supporter and hes greek and he used to take the greek flag to every game, when he was in england he got a phone call from a tv station in greece who met us in the airport when we went home it was about 5 mins long the interview and like a saddo he has it on disc and shows it to anyone who will watch it

Yeah I got on at the cricket too.

England V West Indies, 99 ish.

I was waving a big sign that read "That's pure meat and Gravy!", shoving it in the air after every shot, totally plastered thanks to the 2 cuban guys next to me pouring their rum into my cans of lager every 5 minutes.

My mate got a load of texts after the AEK home match saying she'd been on the telly, I sit next to her but didn't think I'd been on til I got the solitary text by someone who'd seen me. I still haven't seen it but I've seen a few pictures of it, apparently we were on for a few seconds

Crime Watch, ah the memories, sitting in a mates 1 night all watching it. Crime Watch comes on, they do that section about wanting people and they show photos. A picture comes on the screen, we all turn to our right, where 1 of the lads is sitting, he just muttered "[Poor language removed]". Yes, he did get nicked for it, Crime Watch does work!
