A mate of mine has very slightly darker skin than my white skin, just a trace of Bolivian heritage. More than enough to have one idiot square up to him and say "You're not black, but you're not quite white are you?"

There's an alarming number of racists out there who bristle at anyone not quite white enough or where there is clear evidence of non-white heritage.

I know that, but someone with Meghan's skin colour is less likely to get a monkey chant thrown at them than someone with Oprah's skin colour. Is what it is - racists are stupid.

The High Court says the Mail on Sunday front page apology to Meghan Markle will have to be "in a font and size no smaller than appeared the wording 'Meghan’s shattering letter to her father'".

I've always thought this should be the case. If a paper or any other media outlet lies they should by law have to give equal coverage to the apology and admission of wrongdoing as they did the lie.

They've all spent years tucking them away on the inside corner of a page after the damage has already been done.

Totally agree that the apology should fit the accusation. I still don’t understand though, why people didn’t have their day in court.....
